In October 2022, Nancy started her journey in realism mosaics. She was amazed by the work produced by Dianne Chikhaoui and Kala Jarda of D&H Fine Art Mosaics and took two of their classes. Giuseppi was her first project in the Furry Friends class. It is pictured above next to Sebastian, her 30"x48" lion. Tens of thousands of glass shards later, it was finished. A portrait class was next. Nancy chose Barbra Streisand as her subject as family member portraits were not recommended on the first attempt. Americus, the bald eagle, and Augustus, the leopard came next. Ignacio and Tiberius followed. These pieces have been featured in over 20 exhibits and have won various awards.
